Pine View Elementary To purchase materials for a School Science Club to help improve interest and performance on our ISTEP test. $2,500.00
Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana To fund a portion of Project DAB (Developmental Asset Building), a school-based and after school mentoring program at Green Valley Elementary to help at-risk children increase their developmental assets. $2,500.00
Blue River Services, Inc. To remove and replace worn carpet throughout the Rainbow's End Daycare Center in Georgetown. $2,500.00
Clarksville Sister Cities Association To fund a student exchange project for high school students from Floyd and Clark Counties with students from Garenne-Colombes, France. $3,500.00
Paddlewheel Producers, Inc. To produce and present Broadway-level musical productions that are free to the public. $4,000.00
Stage One: The Louisville Children's Theatre To fund the Student Ticket Subsidy Program which assists school groups from Floyd County that attend a Stage One performance at a reduced ticket price during the 2007-2008 season. $4,075.00
The Mary Anderson Center To provide expressive therapy clay classes to target populations in Floyd County that might otherwise not have the experience. $4,200.00
Floyd County WIC Program To provide funds for Spanish language interpreters and multi-lingual teaching/educational materials. $4,242.00
Boy Scout Troop 4167 To outfit the scout troop with gear that allows more frequent and inclusive high adventure activities. $4,780.00
Galena Elementary & PTO To develop a reading library to aid in writing skills of the 4th & 5th grade students. $4,920.00
Hour of Power Evangelistic Mission To purchase a commercial stove and freezer to help provide meals to those in need. $5,000.00
YMCA of Southern Indiana To help fund the DIAMONDS Program, a youth development program for low-income and at-risk girls. $5,000.00
Georgetown Township Fire Protection District To purchase a Thermal Imager Camera and to repair the "burn rooms" in the training town. $6,150.00
Floyd County Historical Society, Inc. To replace siding and insulation on the southeast corner of the Floyd County Historical Society Padgett Museum building $6,930.00
Knights of Columbus Council 1221 To purchase and install kitchen equipment so the Knights of Columbus Council 1221 may increase its fundraising capacity. $12,000.00
Brandon's House Counseling Center To provide 400 hour-long counseling sessions to Floyd County families. $12,400.00
Rauch, Inc. To support funding for strengthening transitional services for students with disabilities in the local school systems. $15,000.00
Hispanic Connection of Southern Indiana To provide support for Spanish speaking immigrants to become self reliant and active members of the community through bilingual programs, life-skills workshops, and clinics. $15,000.00
Highlander Youth Recreation League To renovate and upgrade all ball field fencing, which will finalize the improvement of safety to meet current standards. $17,000.00
Boys & Girls Clubs of Kentuckiana To purchase equipment to improve the kitchen and dining areas to meet the criteria to become a Dare to Care Kids Café site. $17,050.00
Junior Achievement of Kentuckiana To offer deep impact economics, financial literacy, and career exploration to students. $20,000.00
Ogle Center, Indiana University Southeast To support programming for the Children's Series and the family-oriented programming of the Ogle Center $20,000.00
The Center for Women and Families, Inc. To support the Children's Programming and provide comprehensive services such as educational advocacy, individual and group therapy and case management to Floyd County residents. $20,000.00
Floyd County Token Club To purchase and install 4 - 92% fuel efficient gas furnaces and A/C units and include electric, replacement of water heater, vents and ducts. $20,000.00
NAFC Habitat for Humanity To help fund the building of decent, affordable housing for those in need. $20,000.00
Personal Counseling Service, Inc. To provide counseling and psychiatric services to students in the NAFC Schools System. $20,000.00
Floyd Circuit Court Juvenile Probation Office To provide comprehensive psychological evaluations to the children of Floyd County. $20,000.00
Floyd County Youth Services Bureau To fund the Access Program, which provides referrals and money for youth involved with probation and child protective services to receive mental health services. $20,000.00
FC Department of Child Services To offer assessment and intervention services for children birth-17 years who are alleged to have been sexually abused. $20,000.00
Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services To provide therapeutic pain relief massage for inpatient and outpatient clients at FMHHS. $20,000.00
New Directions Housing Corporation To help fund Repair Affair for thirty disabled homeowners of low income through the Neighborhood Impact program leveraging volunteer labor, skill and community sponsorship. $20,000.00
One Southern Indiana Administration of Small Business Revolving Loan fund $13,000.00
